Eligibility Criteria for CA Final Course
Before starting your CA Final 2025 registration, it’s essential to verify that you meet the eligibility criteria set by ICAI. Below are the key requirements for completing the CA Final application form for the May 2024 session, in accordance with the new ICAI scheme of education and training:
Eligibility Requirements for CA Final
- Clear all papers in Group 1 and Group 2: Achieve a minimum of 40% in each paper and 50% overall in a single attempt.
- Complete ICITSS: Complete the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) after registering for the Intermediate course but before beginning Practical Training (PT).
- Practical Training: Undergo a mandatory two-year practical training (PT) as per Regulation 50 of the Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Regulations, 2023. The training period has been reduced from three years under the new scheme.
- Advanced Course (AICITSS): Participate in the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) after completing practical training but before taking the CA Final examination, for the duration specified by the ICAI Council.
- Online Learning Modules: Complete self-paced online learning modules with a minimum of 50% marks after the CA Intermediate exam but before appearing for the CA Final exam.
